Plaza Rhythms: Garba Dance
In honor of Navratri, a major Hindu festival dedicated to the divine feminine, the Columbia Museum of Art invites you to learn a Gujarati folk dance known as Garba, that revolves around the nine forms of mother goddess Durga. This October 25th Plaza Rhythms event will be taught by local dancer and educator Panna Chauhan, is suitable for all ages, and is free with membership or admission. Registration is required, and capacity is limited to ensure physical distancing.
